Scot T

Scot Theodor McFisher is the main quest giver in Scotland.

"Meet Scot, the last in a long line of McFishers adventurers and the reluctant heir to what was once a fabulous fortune...

Scot never imagined he'd follow in the family's monster-hunting footsteps. But fate had other plans.

Armed with his bagpipe, he is on a quest to restore his family's honor and wealth and to get rid of the pesky beast once and for all. And that's where you come in!"

- From the official Facebook page

Scot has been reconstructing his ancestors' castle, which he believes to be cursed by the local monster, who destroys everything that is rebuilt. To solve this mystery and rule out other possibilities such as his neighbours playing pranks on him, he asks the player to fetch several fish and items. He finally finds some historical records of the monster known as Nessie, and asks the player to catch the monster and bring it to him. After returning to Scot with Nessie, he rewards the player with the Nessie badge, which also unlocks the "Guardian of the Misty Loch" achievement on Android and iOS.

After having completed the Nessie quest, Scot gifts the player the Cryptic Crystal, which can be added to the Mysterious Pond on the Home Island. He then asks the player to collect large quantities of stone blocks and caber to complete reconstruction of the Fishers' Castle. Once the castle has been restored to its former glory, Scot gifts the player his lucky Scottish beret as a reward.

Scot is obsessed with eating haggis and likes drinking tea.

Day 1[]

One Fish[]

Och aye, mornin' tae ye! Wha' do we hae here? Isn't that <player name>? A hearty welcome tae Scotland!

I'm not surprised by the presence of a monster hunter in such a mysterious place. Your courage might come in handy. Are you ready for the next challenges?

If you can, please catch one of the local fish species of any weight and size.

This is a great opportunity to take on the local perch. I saw a big school nearby!

All you have to do is catch one fish.

Well done! You have clearly earned your fame for a reason. That's a fantastic specimen. Please take these coins Coin.

By the way! My name is Scot Theodor McFisher. Come visit me once you've had a chance to look around the area!

European Perch[]

Hi! Last time you were fast, but you probably didn't think that one fish would impress me. I want to make sure you're as good as they say.

Do you still remember the school of perch I mentioned last time? I have a little task for you. Are you up for it?

You have a chance to face real Scottish predators. The local perch feed in the vicinity of a small islet, right next to the castle.

I need 8 kg. There are really many of them there, so you'll probably handle it quickly. After all, you're a true hero, aren't you? He, he!

Hi! What about European Perch? Will you catch it for me?

Well done, really well done! Excellent job! You're truly a specialist in special tasks.

It's a good thing, because I need someone trustworthy to help. Get ready! It's going to be interesting.

Stone Block[]

Welcome back, <player name>! It's beautiful here, isn't it? Many people admire the views, but then... BOOM! The boat disappears!

Perhaps only unaware tourists swim calmly on this body of water. But maybe you want to earn some XP points?

I have been reconstructing my ancestors' castle. I am collecting stone blocks that once made up its walls. Can you bring me a few pieces?

I think 3 stone blocks is a good start, even for a small bathroom.

Stone blocks are located next to castle ruins. You will find them at the bottom, at the foot of the north tower.

Did you find stone block?

Congratulations! But I need more.

Thank you! Memories of the power of the family return with every raised boulder. Your help is priceless.

You know, there's a curse on this castle. Something fiercely destroys everything I rebuild. Come, sail with me, and see for yourself!

Armor[]

Would you like to learn more about the curse of McFisher Castle?

You might think I'm crazy, but I assure you, the depths of this water hide a great secret. And I will uncover what it is!

You know, I recently found a small piece of my great-grandfather's armor. Maybe you could look for the rest of it for me?

I found the armor fragment to the south, near an isle with a mysterious stone circle.

There are plenty of rudd there, they are very curious fish. They are attracted to shiny things.

Did you find Armor?

You did it! You're amazing. Look at these traces. My ancestors fought an uneven battle... with a real BEAST.

For centuries, it has returned to destroy what we have rebuilt! It's time to put an end to this. I know I can count on you. Stay sharp, see you later!

Haggis[]

Hello! I hope you had a chance to try the local dish Haggis. Oh, it's delicious...

Why did I even mention it... If I don't eat those exceptional, chewy, fatty delicacies, I'm done for... Help me!

Yes, I have an obsession with Haggis. And yes, I'm ashamed of it. The worst part is that they only serve it at the McGlen's tavern.

It's a hut to the south, where the sheep pastures stretch out. Maybe you'll find a little piece, a scrap. Bring it all!

Did you find Haggis?

Oh yeah! You did it. Do you want some? Probably not. Great! I owe you one. You're a great guy.

Alright, I'll give you my secret spot. The best pikes live at the mouth of the river on the northern highlands. Good luck!

Carp[]

Good to see you. Do you already have any record-breaking catches on your account? If not, I have a little challenge for you.

These waters are known for their giant carps! I could use a few kilos. Check if you're tough like us!

Bring me 50 kg of beautiful carps. The biggest specimens I've found were on the northeast around the Old Oak.

Be careful not to lose your gear. It's easy to snag on wooden stakes. There's a lot of them under the water surface.

Ahoy! What about the Carp? Will you catch it for me?

Thanks a bunch. But I need more.

Oh, it's so nice to see such specimens! Excellent job. You're a true specialist. Actually, you can help me with the monster issue!

You know, sometimes we argue with other clans in the area. Maybe this curse is just neighborly pranks? Come visit me, we'll check this out.

Kilt[]

Ahoy! Ye ready fer a wee bit o' adventure? This time, I want to find out if my neighbors are the big monster.

We'll pick up a few things for friendly clans. We'll see which ''monster'' will retaliate... he he!

Search the area near the McGils' territories. Do you have the guts? Be like a bulldog! Like an angry bull!

The McGils usually hang their clothes to dry on a wooden dock on the western side, close to the aqueduct.

I'm sure you'll find their kilts there. Bring me two pieces and remember, no one can see you.

Did you find Kilt?

You rock. But I need more.

We've got it! Thank you. I must admit, I like the pattern of their tartan. I'll make a flag out of it. Now we'll wait and see the McGils' reaction.

I once heard that a few boats sank to the west. There's a mysterious, abandoned cave there. Maybe we'll explore it soon.

Chess piece[]

Oh, there you are! I have good and bad news. Good - there hasn't been a monster for a long time. Bad - old McGil came for his kilt,

... but he didn't have a second spare pair.

I have to live with it. But it's not them attacking my castle. Time to check the next clan. Are you ready?

The McNabs love chess. Recently, after a lost game, their favorite chess piece ended up in the water. You need to find it.

All the McNabs are looking for it. Sail southeast. Look for a tall boulder. They usually sit around it playing chess.

Did you find the Chess piece?

There it is! That's the one! I'll finally get one over on them. Thank you for your help. You know, we all really like each other.

Sometimes you just have to check who's destroying your castle - monster or friends. Also, I have some information for you.

I went trout fishing at the river mouth in the north. There are unique Bull trout there. I noticed something huge under the water. It could have been the monster.

Wooden Barrel[]

Hello! You won't believe it! I talked to McNab, the owner of the chess piece you brought last time. The monster also attacked his lands.

I don't know what to think about it. The whole area is tense. We need to come up with something quickly.

I think it's time to check the last clan in the area. McGlen would love to scare us. That jester always plays tricks on us.

His fortress is located southwest. Look for the tall tower. McGlens are famous for their best whiskies.

And I know where they hide them. Bring me 3 wooden barrels. Look for them near the broken bridge, close to their islet.

Did you find the Wooden Barrel?

Thanks so much. But I need more.

Perfect! That's what I wanted! Come here, my barrels! And you... you must be a world champion! We'll see if McGlen will come looking for his lost goods!

I talked to some people, and they told me that the BEAST feeds on fear, and that's not good because I'm a little scared.

Thanks to you, we are moving forward! I must admit, the monster issue is somewhat overwhelming to me. I need to rest. See you soon!

Day 2[]

Bag Pipes[]

Welcome! It's good to see you. I still don't know what's destroying my castle. But I have to defend myself!

No one can disturb the McFishers with impunity! But I know how to scare away the monster.

There's one thing that will stop even the toughest of them. You have to find it. Are you up to it?

It's a cruel tool, but there's no other way. It's time for the Bag Pipes. My family once had this beautiful instrument.

Unfortunately, after a small dispute between our ancestors, it disappeared into the lake's depths. Look for a small island where a fire glows at night.

Did you find Bag Pipes?

Wow! You did it. I can always count on you. With such a weapon, I feel safer. Here are your coins Coin.

Of course, that's not the end of the preparations. I'll need your help. I hope you'll come soon.

Rainbow Trout[]

Good to see you! I thought it would be worth stocking up in case of a siege.

You know, that MONSTER can be really dangerous, and I can't just starve to death. I have to stand guard myself, so maybe you can help me?

I've decided to stock the area around my island with Rainbow Trout. I need 40 kg to start with.

Is that enough, do you think? Many species of Trout feed in the west, near the mysterious cave. I trust you!

How it's going? What about Rainbow Trout? Will you Catch it for me?

Excellent! Don't worry, little fish, you'll feel at home here. Great job <player name>. I feel prepared to face the monster.

Supplies are ready, the active deterrent system with bagpipes is active. I'll think of what else we might need. I'm waiting for you!

Adder[]

Hello! Good to see you. This BEAST is really getting on my nerves. Yesterday, it damaged the castle walls again.

I read about a certain idea from my great-grandfather. He brought a few snakes to the island, which were supposed to guard the area.

He apparently enjoyed walking barefoot on the grass and soon after passed away. Nevertheless, it was noted that as long as the snakes were present, the beast did not bother us.

We need to try this method. Bring me 4 Adders. Just be gentle, they are peaceful and useful creatures. And venomous too...

Not many people know that Adders can swim really well! They don't like water, but they do like rocks in the south. You can find them there.

Welcome. What about Adder? Will you catch it for me?

Thanks. But I need more.

Great! Beautiful creatures; some fear them, but not me. Here's your reward Coin.

I hope this BEAST thinks twice before messing with us. By the way...

Just like adders, eels also like this area. The difference is that they are active at night.

Freshwater Pearl Mussels[]

Welcome back <player name>, ! I have a little problem with the trout. They seem depressed lately. They don't want to play with me at all.

I'm wondering how to improve their mood. I threw a few full barrels into the water, but they are still lethargic.

I thought a little gift, something nice, would make them happy. Maybe you can find some pretty trinkets for me?

I know that Freshwater Pearl Mussels live in these waters. These are the mussels that produce real pearls!

Look for Pearl Mussels in the coves. In the north, at the foot of the waterfall is the perfect place. Bring me ?.

Did you find Freshwater Pearl Mussels?

Do you have them? That's amazing! <player name>, you're an expert! A true expert. I can already see my trout smiling!

I will check carefully if any of the mussels have a beautiful pearl. Don't worry, I won't harm them!

Thanks to you, we're getting closer to solving the mystery. Meanwhile, I think I have some leftovers of that last haggis... See you tomorrow!

Day 3[]

Water vole[]

Hello <player name>! I have bad news. The attacks are intensifying! Now all the neighbors must prepare for a skirmish with the MONSTER!

The BEAST creeps up on our settlements every day. The bushes limit visibility, and I feel defenseless.

However, I have an idea. Will you help me?

In the east live small rodents called Water Voles. They effectively nibble on aquatic plants and are as cute as hamsters.

They live in the east, among the grass near the old pier. I need at least 3. Remember, they are delicate creatures.

Did you find Water Vole?

Great Going! But I need more.

Oh! How soft and cuddly! Thanks to them, I'll get rid of these reeds. Thanks! You're a great player!

In return, I have a certain tip for you. I checked the family records and found a mention of the monster! It was seen in the west, under a rock that looks like a face.

Tench[]

Good morning! Listen, we're about to start the season for Tench. It's the most popular sport fish on the Islands.

Everyone here competes for the biggest catches. It attracts tourists and big money! Maybe you'd like to try your hand at this species?

Tench are solitary, but many of them are found in the south. Look for an islet with two distinctive boulders.

Now the most important part, don't get scared. I need 10 kg of Tench. That will definitely lure tourists.

Good day. What about Tench? Will you catch it for me?

Great job! Now I certainly won't complain about a lack of tourists at the fishing spot. You are an excellent angler. Thanks!

I have news for you! Everything indicates that the BEAST lives in the west. McGlen saw something strange entering a cave.

Signal Crayfish[]

Hello friend! I'm pretty sure the MONSTER comes from the West and is making fun of us at our expense.

I need to strengthen the flanks of the castle to be prepared for its arrival.

I know how to prepare. Bring me 4 Signal crayfish. They are armed with powerful claws, and even a monster wouldn't want to be pinched here and there.

Signal crayfish like deep depths. Try your luck at the foot of the northern cliffs.

Welcome. What about the Signal Crayfish? Will you catch it for me?

You're the best. Bring me more creatures.

Oh, what beauties! Have you seen this species before? Thank you! Your efforts are for my safety. I don't know if it will make a difference...

...but the monster is called Nessie. Supposedly it resembles a Plesiosaur! We must capture it.

Tea Pot[]

Hey <player name>! I have good news. All the clans have focused on searching for Nessie.

We're exchanging information on the watch and waiting for this creature. I like it when we are united again as one family.

All this sitting in the boat makes me thirsty. Searching is important, but one must also find time for tea. I urgently need Tea Pot.

You'll probably find one at the entrance to the herbalist's islet. She once told me that she loses them by the shore if she doesn't drink her herbs.

Did you find the Tea Pot?

Perfect! Time for tea! What time is it? Oh, never mind... Thank you <player name>. You know, we've been sitting here all day with my mates and there's no sign of the monster.

I'm sure it hunts at NIGHT! It's time to catch it <player name>!

Thistle[]

Hello! Do you feel it? Yes, that's the scent of victory! It's blowing from the east... hehe.

I must reveal to you our Scottish secret. We don’t use baits or special lures to catch big fish.

Just good old Thistle. Yes, I don't even know how it works. To be honest, I’ve never tried other methods.

I'll make you a spectacular bait for Nessie! Look along the shores of the island with the beautiful statue. There you'll find Thistle.

Did you find Thistle?

You did it! Great job <player name>! Wow, didn't you get pricked? It always happens to me.

But no matter! I’ll make you my secret bait. Give me a moment.

Ouch...

Yikes! How it stings...

Done! We have it!

Head to the Marina Helicopter icon for the bait and catch Nessie.

Nessie[]

<player name>, the time has come to face our final challenge in Scotland - capturing the legendary Loch Ness Monster!

Conquer the beast and earn eternal glory in angling legends! Are you ready to make history?

To find the Nessie, remember the clues you've gathered.

Check these three locations: the western cave, the area around the face-like rock, and a popular Bull Trout spot on the north.

Remember, monster bait and a strong rod might be key in this challenging battle.

Yo! What about Nessie? Will you catch it for me?

Don't tell me... You did it! You are as brave as a true Scot. Amazing job! End of this ordeal because of the monster! Only the neighbors remain now.

Glad to have met you. You have a courageous heart. You are a hero! Here is your reward Coin. I will remember you.

Additional quests and interactions[]

Crystal quest[]

I was hoping you'd visit me again. I have something that might interest you. It's a family artifact of ours.

It has been with us for generations. I thought it was a unicorn horn because it glows at night. Maybe you can find a use for it.

I feel that it's a part of something big and magical! Take care!

It looks like it's going to rain, don't you think?

It's a bit touching... I really do get attached to people. Remember me because I will definitely remember you!

Ah, so many emotions... We must see each other soon. I have a plan for how to use this whole monster adventure.

Fisher's Castle quest[]

What a pleasure to see you back on the Scottish waters! You know, your fishing skills have already become a legend among the locals?

On Bessie[]

By the way, did you know that some Bessie was found in America? I wonder if it's related to our Nessie. Or just a poor imitation...

North tower[]

Oh wow! It's fantastic to see you, <player name>! I have something on my heart...

You know, I've decided to rebuild my old castle to restore its former glory. Would you like to help me?

For the castle reconstruction, I need stone blocks. Every piece will be useful.

We'll start with the reconstruction of the north tower. I need 100 pieces to make it look somewhat presentable.

Did you find Stone Block?

Thanks! But I need more.

Incredible, <player name>! Thanks to your help, the north tower is already starting to look like new. You're amazing!

When you find some time, drop by. I could use your help with the next stages of reconstruction.

East tower[]

Hello <player name>! Have you seen the new tower? Impressive, isn't it? A bit of plaster and stone...

...and the phones from tourists are off the hook. The area has become very popular. Time for the next stage of work! Will you help me?

This time we will focus on the reconstruction of the eastern tower. Just like before, I need stone blocks. The more, the better.

For the eastern tower, I need 200 pieces. It's a challenge, but I know you can handle it.

Did you find Stone Block?

Thanks a lot. But I need more.

I can't believe my eyes! The eastern tower is also beginning to regain its shine thanks to you, <player name>.

Remember, with every rebuilt part of the castle, the history of this place becomes even more alive.

You are a true master! Visit me soon!

Courtyard[]

My dear <player name>! Just look how beautiful it is here. It was a bullseye. The investment is slowly paying off.

Especially since the material is for free. I need something solid to finish the courtyard.

I know! Find caber! Best to get 100 pieces right away. This will allow me to reconstruct the buildings and strengthen the well.

You'll find them at the bottom of the lake near the old oak to the northeast. No time to wait!

Did you find the Caber?

Congratulations. But I need more.

Great, exactly what I needed. You're truly a wonderful friend.

Every step in the castle's reconstruction is not just about putting stones back in their place but also reviving the legends that slumber here.

Main building[]

Hi <player name>! You won't believe it, some guy is encroaching on me. He claims he has a better monster on the Great Lakes.

I'm afraid he'll steal my tourists. I need to hurry with the castle's reconstruction! Are you up for a bigger challenge?

The main building of the castle requires a tremendous amount of materials and effort.

We need 500 stone blocks. This task requires time and patience, but I know I can count on you.

Did you find Stone Block?

You rock. But I need more.

Unbelievable, <player name>! The main building is starting to look like the center of the entire castle again, thanks to your hard work.

You've done a great service to the whole area and thanks to you, I've fulfilled my life's dream. There's always a free place for you...

...in my heart. Visit me by as often as you can.

Listen, I want to give you something special – my lucky Scottish beret.

It's a true symbol of Scotland, passed down through generations, and it's known to bring luck!

It's a bit touching... I really do get attached to people. Remember me because I will definitely remember you!
