The Home Island (also known as the Port Harbor or Marina) is the player's home base in Creatures of the Deep. From here, the player can travel back and forth from any destination using the helicopter. There are also several amenities available on the Home Island, which can be constructed over time using wood , coins and gems . Typically it takes a day to construct any building, but they can be constructed immediately by paying 30 .

Flying Bob Travel Agency[]

Flying Bob Travel Agency takes the player (by helicopter) to a destination of their choosing. Travelling to each destination costs a fixed amount of coins per visit (the cost may be lowered slightly if the player has added skill points into Charisma).
Go Extreme VIP Travel Services[]
Captain Leonardo of Go Extreme VIP Travel Services appears on the weekends to take players to an exotic destination. Individual trips to the destination cost VIP tickets ; the exact amount is not fixed and depends on "market demand".
Broken Rod Anglers Store[]
Broken Rod Anglers Store stocks a variety of items that can be purchased throughout the player's fishing adventures.
Some items take up slots in the player's inventory, and the number of horizontal or vertical spots taken up by these items are indicated in the store by grey squares.

Chuchu Boat Service (Dockyard)[]

The dockyard is where the player can pimp out their boat. There are many options available to change the boat color, customize the deck, and add front, rear, and side details. These cost coins or gems .
This is also where additional inventory slots can be purchased. The first five inventory slots are available by default, and the next five can be purchased for 1500 , 3000 , 100 , 200 and 500 .

Lock Box Fine Storage[]

The Lock Box can be used to store wood, fish, creatures, trash and/or monsters. These can be displayed as trophies or saved for later use.

Jam Jar Fish Tank[]

The Jam Jar Fish Tank is an underwater aquarium where players can add and see every single fish and monster they have collected across all destinations. Adding fish and monsters to the aquarium generates passive income . The more fish and the more stars the fish have in the aquarium, the more passive gold is generated.

Clan HQ[]

The Clan HQ allows players to join clans. Clans consist of a maximum of 15 players. Within a clan, players can request wood from other members every 7 hours. Clans can also participate in clan challenges. Winning a clan challenge awards season points to the clan and also rewards all clan members with prizes such as coins or gems .
Big Fish Tournaments[]

Players can participate in tournaments and compete with the global player base to earn rewards and badges.

Players can use the workbench to make potions, elixirs, and other fishing tools that can help them fish easily.

Players can use the recycle machine to make avatars like Duck face or Pirate hat, etc.
Season Rankings[]
The season rankings board was added to the Home Island in July 2023. This lists global player rankings, country-specific player rankings, overall country rankings, clan rankings as well as clan leagues, and PvP (duels) leagues. Players can earn fish points by catching larger fish to compete in the ranks, or participate in clan matches or duels.
In March 2024, a crown on a pedestal was added next to the season rankings board. This lists the top 3 players, the top country, the top 3 clans and the top PvP player from the previous season (the last month).
Info Board[]
The Info Board was added to the Home Island in July 2023. It lists new world records as well as daily quests that allow players to earn extra gems or coins .
Character styling shack[]
Visiting the little shack on the Home Island lets the player change their avatar's appearance, including facial features, hairstyle, facial accessories, facial hair, and avatar background. This feature is also available by tapping on the avatar icon on the top left corner of the game, and tapping again on the avatar icon in the character details panel.

Mr. Octopus[]
Mr. Octopus is a traveling octopus who arrives at the Home Island at 22:00 (GMT+0) on Saturdays, and leaves at 22:00 on Sundays. He offers a spinning wheel minigame that allows the player to win coins , gems , a clover (temporary luck), standard bait, a blueprint or 1 VIP ticket in the wheel.
The first spin each day is free. The next 9 spins cost 1 , the next 10 spins cost 2 , which then increases to 3 , and so on. Depending on the player's time zone, it may be possible to spin the wheel twice for free (once on Saturday and once on Sunday).
Note: If there is not enough space in the inventory to hold additional standard bait, any bait won through the wheel will be lost.
On 14 April following the addition of the workbench in patch 2.12 (11 April 2024), it was possible to win either standard baits or blueprints in the wheel. However, Mr. Octopus returned to offering the usual rewards the next week.
Mysterious Pond[]
The Mysterious Pond was added to the Home Island in September 2023. In October 2023, it was possible to collect crystals from the main quest givers from each zone to acquire a total of 6 crystals (out of a possible 8).

Northwest Island[]
The northwest island was added to the marina in patch 1.91 (4 November 2023). Initially, there were only two palm trees on the island. In patch 1.96 (22 November 2023), the island was updated with the lantern and the windmill/wind turbine.

The windmill, officially known as Breezepower Station, provides an Aqua Glow Battery for free after a certain duration (this reduces as the windmill is upgraded).

Wild plants[]
Following patch 2.10 on 29 February 2024, wild plants were added to the Home Island, with the description "Looks delicious!" Originally only a red rose-like plant could be collected. However, with patch 2.12 on 11 April 2024, several additional species were added. These can be collected from both the Home Island and the NW island and are required for crafting various blueprints. Each plant can be sold in the shop for 10 .
Trivia[]
- Following patch 1.72 on 24 July 2023, the Home Island was entirely redecorated and player characters developed legs (!), allowing them to walk (and sail) all over the Home Island.
- It is not possible to fish in the waters around the Home Island, as clearly indicated by the "No fishing zone" present in the water.
- With the addition of the Axe in patch 1.91 on 4 November 2023, another small island was added northwest of the Home Island, which contains two trees that can be chopped down for wood.
