Chinook Salmon is a fish that can be found in Great Lakes. A good fishing spot is the central shoal just southeast of the helicopter. Chinook Salmon can be spotted easily in the water by its very large shadow.
Some local NPCs, such as Al Capone, may occasionally provide the following location hint after completing their quest:
"Salmon Chinook, like other salmon, prefers deeper water in the center."

- Chinook Salmon is the same species as King Salmon that can be found in Alaska.

- Following patch 1.82 (31 August 2023), Chinook Salmon can be found during both the day and night (previously it could only be found during the night).
