Creatures of the Deep Wiki

Chemical Plant is a special Destination in Creatures of the Deep. This destination can be accessed on the weekends via Leonardo's Go Extreme VIP Travel Services. Individual trips to Chemical Plant cost VIP tickets, the price of which fluctuates depending on the "demand and number of tickets on the market".

There are four zones in Chemical Plant: Zone 1 (South), Zone 2 (West), Zone 3 (East), Zone 4 (North). The main quest of each zone needs to be completed in order to enter the next zone (which is available on the next day, not the next trip).

This destination was released on 1 August 2024 (patch 2.26).

Important things to know before traveling[]

Traveling to Chemical Plant can be expensive as anywhere between 50 and 200 VIP tickets are required for individual trips. Therefore, it is wise to plan out your trip before entering the zone.

  • Rods: Fishing rods purchased or crafted at the Home Island will break twice as fast in this zone (Toxic fishing rods are unaffected). It is important to carry as many rods as possible, especially Monster Hunter rods (as these have the maximum durability of all rods) and Garbage Grabber rods for fishing out trash items. It may also be worthwhile carrying a Repair Kit.
  • Main quest: During the main quest, Dr Ozon asks the player to leave Chemical Plant and fetch items from other destinations. Therefore, to reduce the number of trips, it is recommended to enter the zone with quest items already present in the inventory, and take back future quest items for the next trip.
    1. First trip: Take 3 Plastic Bottles from Paradise Island and 3 Coho Salmon from Great Lakes for the Zone 1 (South) series of quests.
    2. Second trip: Take 3 Palm Leaves from Costa Rica and 1 Compass from Alaska for the Zone 2 (West) series of quests.
    3. Third trip: Day 2 quests of the Zone 2 (West) .
    4. Fourth trip: Take 3 Carp from Scotland, 2 Bullfrog from Great Lakes for the Zone 3 (East) series of quests. Take back 1 Wind Turbine Dynamo, 2 Wind Turbine Propeller Blade and 1 Wind Turbine Propeller Hub.
    5. Fifth trip: Take 1 Wind Turbine (made by Workbench) and 1 Australian Cricket Bat from Australia for the Zone 3 (East) series of quests.
    6. Sixth trip: Take 4 Thistle from Scotland for the Zone 4 (North) series of quests.
  • Minigame: Some fish and creatures have a new kind of minigame in Chemical Plant, which has a rotating circle. This requires players to tap (and hold) on dark red zones but not light red zones. Clicking and holding too quickly after hooking may let the fish get away, which reduces rod durability.
