Anniversary events

Creatures of the Deep holds an anniversary event on 11 November 2023, with the first event starting in 2023. During this event, the Home Island is redecorated with several balloons and a large cake, and several characters from the first five destinations visit the Home Island for the birthday celebrations.

Upon logging into the game, players received a present with the following message:

1st anniversary:

"Happy 1st Birthday to our game! Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. As we celebrate, we are thrilled to usher in a new chapter full of adventures and challenges."

2nd anniversary

"Happy birthday to the game! Thank you for being part of this amazing journey. We can't wait to start a new chapter full of adventures and challenges." (2nd anniversary)

Upon opening the present in 2023, players received 1000 , 1 , 3 and 5 and were awarded the Birthday Guest badge. In 2024, players received 50 , 10 , 1000 , 1 and were awarded the Birthday Guest badge and Birthday hat by Coco.

1st Anniversary party and fireworks

Several characters visit the player's Home Island during the Anniversary event. The characters can be seen running around and exploring the Home Island and can be interacted with.

A new character, the DJ, was also added during the first anniversary event. Upon interacting with the DJ, a party version of the song "Drunken Sailor" starts playing, and all the characters assemble in two rows in front of the cake and start to dance. If the player runs near the second row of characters, they stop dancing and form a conga line behind the player. At the end of the song, a giant firework is released from the cake and a large amount of confetti fell on the island and into the water.

During the second anniversary event, Coco the parrot and Bob the helicopter pilot were also added to the island.
