Scotland is now out! Feel free to post new fish/creature/trash/monster locations here as well as anything interesting you find about the new Scotland zone.
Happy fishing!
Something tells me it might be as high as 50k... We'll find out! :D
Hiya! You can join the game's official Discord server here (note that the primary language used is English): https://discord.com/invite/JksmvR6YXa
How many skill points in strength and reflex do you have? If you find it hard to tap quickly once he's hooked, then I would suggest putting more points in reflex. If you find it hard to reel him in even with a monster rod, then perhaps another point or two in strength will help.
More details on skills here: https://creatures-of-the-deep-app.fandom.com/wiki/Skills
Killer whale can be quite rare, and some players only catch it after several months of fishing! It can be found in Knik Creek or Whale Depths, and my best suggestion is to either cast and reel in these areas or to keep an eye on creature shadows. I'd recommend using a carbon rod, and perhaps temporary luck, although it's not clear how much it helps. I hope you catch it soon, good luck!
That would be very cool, maybe some day!
Until then, at least we can join a clan (especially one with a Discord server where you can chat with people).
Hi and welcome to the wiki!
There aren't any prehistoric monsters or creatures yet as far as I know, but there have been various hints in the game about time portals... so who knows, maybe we'll get them in a future update!
If you like prehistoric creatures, I really enjoyed this game called Tap! Dig! My Museum! (https://tap-dig-my-museum-wiki.fandom.com/wiki/Tap!_Dig!_My_Museum!_Wiki) in which you could dig out fossils. Perhaps something you might enjoy as well? :)
Hey, sorry for the late reply! It's not possible to add filters like the way you suggest to the wiki just because that's a limitation of the Fandom website, but we're happy to add any extra pages if you have any suggestions :)
Day/night are based on the player's local time. The morning starts at 4 am, day at 6 am, dusk at 6 pm, and night at 8 pm (these may be off by an hour if your region has daylight savings).
The maps reset at 4 am each day. This means that there's usually a limited number of a specific fish or item you can catch in a single day, and these reset at 4 am.

No idea what that is, but congratulations on the 4 stars!
Haha, it's quite good! Would you like to share the meme here? (only if it's SFW please!)
I'm currently working on adding some interactive maps to the wiki, starting with the Paradise Island map. The idea is to to have all major fish/creature/trash/monster locations marked on the map, with each marker belonging to categories, so that it is easy to filter for the markers that the player wants to find.
It's currently very much a work in progress, but I do have the basics set up in the interactive map for Paradise Island. Once all the locations have been added to the maps, the maps can be linked to individual pages with custom filters (I've added the map to the Bluefish page as an example of how this would look).
I think these maps would be a great addition to the wiki as map locations are what players are probably interested in the most. However, as of now, some of the extra features in the maps (such as the custom filter on the Bluefish page) only work on PC browsers and not on mobile browsers, which is a bit unfortunate. But overall, I think players viewing the wiki on their phones would still find them useful.
Anyway, just thought I'd share this here as a quick FYI/update post! Do let me know if you have any feedback about the new map features! :)
At this point, monsters can be caught in any one of 3 or 4 specific regions on the map. The exact location also appears to be fairly well-defined: if you check the official Discord server for monster locations, often people post pictures of where they have spotted the bubbles using monster bait, and I've caught several monsters at these exact locations for those specific days.
I didn't know that avatars were hidden in tournament maps, I'll check this the next time there's an Australia tournament!
That would be ideal. The other maps were drawn by a player on the Discord server, but I'm not certain that they're playing anymore. But the plan is to create some detailed maps with locations for the wiki at some point in the near future.
Thanks for pointing this out! Apparently Deep Blue is just the NE corner of the map. I've updated the Paradise Island page to reflect this. We're planning on creating more detailed maps for the wiki and will hope to mark all these locations on the map eventually.
You can find this information in the infoboxes on pages for individual fish (e.g. in the box for Largetooth Flounder, it says that it is between 1 and 3 kg).
Ah, I see. I think it's only one quest by Sir Joseph Bellywise that requires 50 kg of fish and he doesn't appear everyday. As a tip for this quest, it's actually more profitable to give him rare or epic fish (of any size) which have a higher value, because he will give you back twice as many coins as you would by selling them in the store. For this reason, sorting fish by weight may not actually be that useful because sometimes bigger fish don't actually have that much more value!
Hi Mapk, fish weights are given in their respective pages, and I'm not sure it would be useful to add these to the main fish tables. It would be good if you could let us know how it would help to sort fish by weight.
Hi Mapk, I don't think that it's feasible to add prices for every item as these are not fixed - they depend on the weight of the fish/creature/monster, and they also vary depending on how many points you have in 'Charisma'.
If you have any suggestions for a workaround to this, please let us know!
